MOBOTS
Nowadays, many educational and research objectives can be achieved through the use of configurable, small, low-cost mobile robot kits. This paper deals with mobile using robot which consists of wheels and can be accessed using speech recognition system. Consider a heart patient having a walk in the morning. Suddenly if he gets a heart attack and looses his control and slips the mobile such that the mobile is at a little far distance which cannot be fetched by the patient. In that case, when the patient calls the mobile by a particular code word the speech recognition system in the mobile recognizes his voice and gets activated. Now the mobile phone acts as a robot and the wheel gets stretched out and moves in the direction of the voice recognized. When the mobile comes near the person, he can fetch the mobile and access it. This application can be extended for handicapped persons also. Hence the security of the patient is enhanced. Thus here we emphasize the application of mobile phones as a robot in which mobile phone is used as the primary medium.

BLUETOOTH ENABLED AUTOMATIC UNMAN RAILWAYGATE
Within a few years callers will be able to see each other as they chat on wireless phones with tiny video screens. Using internet enabled wireless devices, doctors will remotely monitor patients. Smart tutors will design wireless-based online courses to adapt to the ability of individual students. Wireless innovations are in the process of changing the way we live and work by giving people access to more information than they ever imagined. Wider bandwidth will allow computers to incorporate graphic display and internet features besides plain text. Banking websites will enable customers to make online transaction, pay bills and transfer funds. Using this wireless communication, a “blue tooth enabled automatic no man railway gate system” can be created. This project proposal deals with automatic railway gate system, which is capable of closing and opening the gate before and after the train passes the particular gate. A blue tooth transmitter equipped train transmits the digital signal in air continuously, when the train reaches approximately 2 km away from the gate, the receiver equipped at gate receives these signal and closes the gate. This overall concept appreciatably reduces accidents occurs at no- man railway gate.

REAL TIME VIDEO TRANSMISSION VIA WIRELESS MEDIUM
Introduction The indian army faces a lot of troubles in the battlefield related to the hidden dangers from the hidden enemy forces. This unmanned ground vehicle will be able to go ahead in a battlefield and send back the data to the main station of the battle tank which would then be able to analyse the situation better. Using a secured wireless data transmission system we will be able to ensure the exact transmission of data to the station and prevent any infringement on the transmitted data. Working and explaination The purpose of this project is to design and develop an imaging device which could send the video of the untraversed terrain in the battle field. An autonomous ugv is released into the enemy territory armed with image sensors from the tank. The ugv traces the path and sends the video signal back to the control unit in the tank via wireless. Based on the video signals thus received the troop commander decides the further plan of action

WIRELESS DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM
Industrial requirements are changing towards wireless communications from wired technologies. Wireless things are more handy, reliable and easily installable in any fields and conditions. this project is basically conversion of wired network into wireless network which is the basic need of emerging industries. According to requirement of pioneer automobile industry ‘zf steering’ we are developing multichannel wireless data acquisition system. This system is having furnace to which thermocouple is connected. Output of thermocouple is analog voltage which is converted into digital value by adc. This digital data is transmitted to the data logger through rf transmitter from all the furnaces. The receiver which is connected to the data logger, incoming data is monitored according to standard protocol. The controller at receiver sends signal to the transmitter for the transmission of digital data. This wireless communication uses ism band.

MULTIPURPOSE ELECTRONIC TAGS
The aim of the project is to develop multipurpose electronic tags using atmel’s 8 bit atmega series microcontrollers. The electronic tags to be developed should serve multiple purposes comprising identity card and information exchanging tag in general gatherings, starter kit for learners and software driven usb programmer for 8 – bit avr microcontrollers. The primary objective of the project is to design conference tags which will allow attendees of any gathering to exchange their personal information like name, contact, email-id, profession etc. Electronically through the proposed tags and thus would eliminate the need of exchanging visiting cards and other printed handouts. The transfer of information would be wireless through infra red radiation. The tags will have connectivity to the pc through usb interface where the user can see all the persons he met in a gathering and also reset the memory contents. The proposed display is nokia 3310 lcd and led matrix.

AUTOMATIC ROOM LIGHT CONTROLE WITH VISITOR COUNTER.
This project automatic room light controller with visitor counter using microcontroller is a reliable circuit that takes over the task of controlling the room lights as well us counting number of persons/ visitors in the room very accurately. When somebody enters into the room then the counter is incremented by one and the light in the room will be switched on and when any one leaves the room then the counter is decremented by one. The light will be only switched off until all the persons in the room go out. The total number of persons inside the room is also displayed on the seven segment displays. The microcontroller does the above job. It receives the signals from the sensors, and this signal is operated under the control of software which is stored in rom. Microcontroller at89s52 continuously monitor the infrared receivers, when any object pass through the ir receiver's then the ir rays falling on the receiver are obstructed

PREPAID ENERGY METER USING SMART CARD
Due to the drastic changes in technology in the last decade, so many advancements were introduced in electricity departments. The electricity bill can be paid now through e-seva centers, atms, net-banking and even through mobile phones. But prepaid electricity is a unique and new concept which saves lot of time and power for electricity department. In this system the user has to purchase a prepaid smart card and it should be inserted into the smart card reader provided on prepaid energy meter kit. The standard business model of electricity retailing involves the electricity company billing the customer for the amount of energy used in the previous month. If the retailer believes that the customer may not pay the bill, a prepayment meter may be installed. This requires the customer to make advance payment before electricity can be used. If the available credit is exhausted then the supply of electricity is automatically cut off by a relay. The meter consists of a microcontroller, a current feedback section consisting of a current transformer, a signal conditioning circuit & adc. A prepaid smart card containing a serial number & amount has to be inserted into the meter. The meter calculates the current consumption & accordingly deducts the amount from the card. This project uses regulated 5v, 500ma power supply. 7805 and 7812 three terminal voltage regulators are used for voltage regulation. Bridge type full wave rectifier is used to rectify the ac output of secondary of 230/12v step down transformer. The rfid module requires a separate +5v power supply.

REMOTE CONTROLLED HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEM (USING A MOBILE PHONE)
The focus of this project is to present a low-cost and simple approach to designing intelligent home system using the concept of mobile-to-machine. First, we develop a general purpose electronic circuit design that can control and monitor a variety of home appliances with interface that can be plugged into gsm handset unit. The design based on programmable logic controller (plc) comprises microcontroller, adaptation circuit, power circuit, and rs232 interface. Then, we develop prototype home security system as an application example of the designed plc system. The system is completely built and tested and showed perfect operation. Technology has taken this concept of management and control a step further, by enabling one to control electronic devices in our home or offices or elsewhere with a remote which could vary from a mobile device to a laptop or personal computer. This concept of controlling electronic devices in our home by a commonly used mobile device is implemented.

MOBILE-OPERATED ROBOT ASSISTING IN BOMB-DETECTION AND DIFFUSION
Objective: The objective for the project is to design a robot which can be operated using a mobile-phone. The robot will perform the function of navigation on a smooth surface in the way operator wants. In addition the robot will be designed to do some more work like surveillance of place and aiding human in situations and locations where there is no access to human or where there is high degree of risk involved to human life. Principle: In order to design a robot controlled by a mobile phone we need two mobile phones which are capable of sending and receiving dtmf signal.

We gonna implement a touchscreen remote using wireless(radio frequency) as a initialization for home automation it can b also used in hospitals where the patient himself is supposed to change the room temperature etc. For a real time example we , our batchmates will make a rf controlled ceiling fan, a light the field we chose is embedded c using linux platform we as a part use pic and arm at the driver end of touch screen and receiver module i. METRO RAIL USING MICROCONTROLLER
This project is design for the student to make them understand the technology used in a now a day’s driver less metro train which is used in most of the developed countries like germany ,japan,france and in india also. Etc. These trains are equipped with the cpu, which control the train. The train is programmed for the specific path. Every station on the path is defined; stoppage timing of the train and distance between the stations is predefined.

Ece laboratories typically contain four indispensable pieces of test equipment:power supply,digital multimeter ,oscilloscope,and function generator. The addition of a fifth pieces of test equipment,a dc electronic load , to our ece laboratories. The source drives a load. MICROCONTROLLER BASED LEVEL MEASUREMENT
The project work which will be carried out is divided into the following steps which are (i) design & fabrication of the sensor and float (ii) design & fabrication of the signal conditioner & transmitter (iii) design & fabrication of the µc / pc based level indicating controller (iv) testing & calibration of sensor (v) testing & calibration of signal conditioner (vi) design & implementation of the s/w for µc/pc based level indicating and controller (vii)assembling of the whole control instrumentation system and (viii) tuning and calibration of the control loop. These steps are given bellow in details. Here we are using infrared sensors which consist of two parts, transmitter module and receiver module. Here we are using ir led for transmitter and receiver module. In the transmitter module, we are supplying a 32-40 khz square wave signal through a transistor which is shown in figure 3. 3 . An astable multivibrator mode is used here for producing a 32-40 khz signal.

SILENT SPEECH RECOGNITION
Silent speech recognition is about deaf and dumb people conveying their message to others through an machine interface. We are going to use biomedical electrodes to capture the signals from muscles and then use signal conditioning and process the available data and get the desired output. We are going to use emg electrodes and specifically instrumentation amplifier for electrode signals in m. Volts.
DIGITAL FIBER OPTIC TEMPERATURE SENSOR
In the existing system, temperature is measured using sensors like rtd, thermistor, etc. These conventional devices are bound to wear and tear. Measurements are done by electrical means which may cause electrical hazards. The initial setup and maintenance cost are expensive. The sensor should be completely replaced in case of any failure. These sensors are best suited if the process fluid is non corrosive in nature else the fluid may corrode the sensors. To overcome these limitations, temperature of a tank can be measured by means of fiber optics. In this setup, the liquid inside the process tank acts as a cladding to the core of the optical fiber. If there is any change in the nature of the liquid, the refractive index of the core will also change, this can be interpreted as change in temperature of the tank.
IMPLEMENTATION OF ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL USING VHDL
There are basically two types of noise control available and they are passive noise control and active noise control. Passive noise control stands for usage of special tiles or dampers to reduce noise. But we are working on active noise control. Its a method in which an antinoise is created which cancels the original noise and hence making the system noise free. These can again be of two types i. e . Open loop and closed loop. Active noise control can be implemented using dsp as well as vhdl. We have choosen to work with vhdl because active noise control implemented using vhdl is seven hundred and fifty times faster in response than the one implemented using dsp. Active noise control finds many application in industries.

TELEPHONE LINE INTERFACED GENERIC SWITCHING SYSTEM
How to control all the switching network of the home when you are away from home just by dialing to your home's telephone number. Everything of home starting from fan to cctv camera every thing of a home can be controlled by the owner of the home just by dialing to his/her home's telephone number. Here an external circuit containing dtmf decoder, d flip-flop and various counters are connected in a circuit and that circuit is connected in parallel with telephone line so when owner ring the telephone from outside after a preset number of rings its asked the password after entering the password user has to select the device and the press star (*) for switching on or hash (#) for switching of the device. At best 10 groups can be connected and under each group 10 devices can be connected so at max we can control 100 device of a hme.

"SECURITY SYSTEM FOR RESTRICTED AREAS"
Here we are trying to ensure the security level of one of the region which is prohibited for all living beings(including humans and animals). Here our concept looks very simple than simpler but the approach can be said quite interesting and useful. Here we are going to apply a circuit based idea which will detect the presence of onyone in that particular area where it has been applied to boost-up the security. As we know that our earth has its electric field (e) which varies place to place; the variation can be due to the presence of human beings or animals or so. Suppose,if there is anyone in that prohibited area then our applied sensors will generate a signal showing the variation in earth's e field, this signal will se sensed by an alarm already placed there, thus we can have an alarm sounding whether here is the presence of someone or not.

ZIGBEE TELE G-BOT FOR REMOTE DATA ACCESS
We are designing a robot for remote data acquisition as it can acquire data from those locations where direct human interaction is not possible and in critical applications which demands high speed and high precision performance that cannot be achieved by a human being. The robot can be controlled by a pc in the control base station. The real time analysis of data acquired by the robot is also performed using this pc. Gps receiver is integrated for tracking the robot. The location of robot can be obtained in the pc. Zigbee is used for sending control instructions to robot and to get the remote data acquired by the robot to the pc. A surveillance camera is also attached to our robot.

16 ELEMENTS RECTANGULAR MICROSTRIP PATCH ANTENNA ARRAY
Designing of 16 elements rectangular microstrip patch antenna array using hfss(simulation). The project is all about designing of a planer array using the simulation software hfss, till now the study regarding the project and the design of the basic patch element is completed. Furthur we will bw doing the detailed study of the antenna arrays and then proceeding furthur with the project.

HUMAN INTERACTIVE DEVICE WITH BLUETOOOTH
This paper explains a research project applying human-computer interaction (hci) knowledge and techniques, such as accessibility and usability, to help people with cerebral palsy or other severe disabilities carry out specific tasks with a computer. As a first step, our main interest is focused on testing and developing new input devices based on computer vision, and testing different interaction methods. The fundamental goal is to enable users with special needs to access computers easily, or, at least, use the computer as an educational or training tool. Specifications are microprocessor – arm7tdmi processor;microcontroller - lpc2132 microcontroller; Modules in lpc2132-ports, uart, timer, adc, interrupt;hardware part- mems based accelerometer sensor,infra red reflective sensor. Today, we are living in the age of information and technology. In this era of information, there is only one machine- that keeps us up-to-date and up to the mark, that is a computer. The role of computers in every spheres of life cannot be neglected or ignored. For each and every area, let it be newspapers, publishing, satellite communications, weather forecasting, reservation centers, share markets etc, all need continuous inflow and outflow of data and information in very large volumes and within very less time and at very high speed. So computers as such can be thought of as an imitating device, which imitates mental operations of a person using it. By taking this fact of human computer interaction importance, we decided to develop a human interacting device for fully disabled persons using bluetooth. Since a paralyzed person doesn’t have any interaction with the outside world. This interacting device helps him to communicate to the outside world with in his four walls.
DIGITAL DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM
Automation and security being our primary concern, we zeroed in to this simple yet useful project concerning micro-controller based digital door locking system. The system is equipped with an electronic combination lock that can efficiently prevent brute force hacking technique. The access code comprises of a 4-digit pass-code along with a 10-digit master password. Components: at89c2051, 4x3 keypad matrix, 2x16 lcd display, relay and combination lock. Future scope of work: on successful completion of the first part, we intend to incorporate biometric access denial system to it.

TO DESIGN A METAL DETECTOR CIRCUIT
This is nothing but a colpitts oscillator working in the medium band frequency and a radio tuned to the same frequency. First the radio and the circuit are placed close. Then the radio is tuned so that there is no sound from radio. In this condition the radio and the circuit will be in same frequency and same frequencies beat off to produce no sound. This is the set up. When the metal detector circuit is placed near to a metal object the inductance of its coil changes , and so do the frequency of oscillations. Now the two frequency will be different , there will be no canceling and radio produces a hissing sound. The metal is detected.
SPEECH SIGNAL PROCESSING USING MATLAB
This project consist of mainly major parts of speech processing. 1 . Speech recognition 2 . Speech compression 3 . Speech synthesis Our project bias on matlab 7. 0 with simulations and gui. First we record speech from the user and compare with the stored speech samples. So, speech of user is recognized. In compression we use linear predictive coding(lpc). Using lpc decoder we synthesis speech using speech co efficeant.

PHASE LOCKED LOOP USING VLSI
Project overview Our project in ece--vlsi design and layout is to design a high-frequency digital phaselocked Loop (pll). We propose to implement two different frequencies: one is 20 mhz, Another one is 25 mhz. Usually, a pll circuit is used to synchronize an output signal, which is usually generated by An oscillator, with a reference or input signal in frequency as well as in phase. In the Synchronized state, the difference (error) between the reference and the oscillator output is Zero or at least very small. So it is called ‘locked’. The whole circuit consists of three main parts. They are phase & frequency detector (pfd), Loop filter (lp) and voltage control oscillator (vco). The diagram of the pll is shown in A pll compares the frequencies of two signals and produces an error signal which is proportional to the difference between the input frequencies.

IMAGE ENHANCEMENT USING GENETIC ALGORITHM
Image enhancement using genetic algorithm in matlab. In this project we like to improve quality of image by removing noise and other degradations. We using principle of genetic algorithm. My group has four members. We hav started learning matlab. By this project we are aiming to get images with good clarity without noises from communication channels.

VLSI BASED AN INTELLIGENT AMBULANCE CAR WHICH CTRLSN YRAFFIC LIGHT
On the way of ambulance traffic will be clear all other ways are blocked. In my project i use infra red rays. For a four way side i use eight sensor. Four for enterance and another four for leaving. I place four post on four side for receiving the signal for the car or ambulance. Based up on the signal from the car trafic light is control.
FACE RECOGNIZATION
The task of facial recognition is discriminating input signals (image data) into several classes (persons). The input signals are highly noisy (e. g . The noise is caused by differing lighting conditions, pose etc. ), yet the input images are not completely random and in spite of their differences there are patterns, which occur, in any input signal. Such patterns, which can be observed in all signals, could be - in the domain of facial recognition - the presence of some objects (eyes, nose, mouth) in any face as well as relative distances between these objects. These characteristic features are called eigenfaces in the facial recognition domain (or principal components generally). They can be extracted out of original image data by means of a mathematical tool called principal component analysis (pca)

AUDIO WATERMARKING AND MUSIC RECOGNITION
Audio watermarking is a technic used to implant data in the audio signals preserving the audibility. In this project we would like to add some author information to the audio data in it's inaudible frequencies (dc watermarking)and use it to detect the authority of the music file. We would like to implement it using the matlab language for technical computing in windows platform to do the project.

PROTOCOL SENSER
Aim is to sense tne temperature of the engine temperature can be measured using the tcp/ip procol,termocoupler to sense the temparature and converts it in to the electrical signals. These temp must have to be displayed in computer. Along with the thermostat micro controller is used to gain controle between the tcp/ip and the host.

ANTI THEFT ALARM FOR BIKES
As the name indicates it prevents the theft of bikes. Once it is installed in bikes, if any body crack the side lock and want to steal the bike then horn of the bike will go on as soon as handle bar is made straight, it will not stop till one will not switch off the ciruit switch placed in the tool box of bike. Its main advantage is that it doesnt ring when bike is just shaked as in earlier version of alarms,but it rings only when handle bar lock is breaked.
